High standards for everyone

The Potter’s House provides a Christ-centered education
to families who otherwise could not afford it.

Most of our students are from lower-income families, and about 55% of our students are from minority backgrounds. Our personalized approach to education allows us to address the needs of the whole child–spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional. Parents and volunteers are actively involved every day. This approach has resulted in turnover of less than 5%, positive outcomes for our graduates, and a sizeable waiting list.

In addition to basic academic classes, we offer:

Early Childhood Program

Established to provide students with a foundation of social and academic support in order to prepare them for kindergarten.

Spanish: PK-12 program

Teaches students the Spanish language and affirms the many Hispanic cultures around the world and at The Potter’s House.

Pairs adult role models with students in small groups to focus on scripture memorization, prayer, Bible study, and personal growth.

Extracurricular Activities

K-12 fine arts programs; middle school sports and high school conference sports programs.

Reading Recovery

Intensive one-on-one program to bring the bottom 25% of our 1st graders up to grade level in reading.

Soar to Success

A reading comprehension program in grades 2-8, working with the lowest seven students from each grade level at one time, in order to bring them to, or above, grade level.
