Reading with the Mayor

We are reading books chosen by Mayor George Heartwell of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jelly Beans, Back of the Bus and The Ugly Duckling are the books we have read so far. Our next book will be Sleeping Big Bear. I like to do this. I like mysteries best because I like finding out who the culprit is and seeing what clues they find next. We haven’t read a mystery yet, but I hope we do. Reading is fun and exciting and it makes your imagination take flight.
